Classification methods and applications of hydraulic pressure gauges

There are many classifications based on different criteria, which are closely related to its applications in industry and engineering. These classifications include:
1. Classification by measurement range: Pressure gauges can be divided into vacuum gauges, pressure-vacuum gauges, micropressure gauges, and blood pressure gauges. These gauges are used to measure pressure values in different ranges. For example, vacuum gauges are used to measure pressures below atmospheric pressure, pressure-vacuum gauges can measure both positive and negative pressures, micropressure gauges are used to measure small pressures, and blood pressure gauges are used to measure human blood pressure.
2. Classified by measuring principle: Pressure gauges can be divided into elastic pressure gauges and piston pressure gauges. Elastic pressure gauges measure pressure by utilizing the deformation of elastic elements under the action of pressure, while piston pressure gauges measure pressure by utilizing the pressure difference between the two ends of the piston.
3. Classification by purpose: Pressure gauges can be divided into industrial pressure gauges and laboratory pressure gauges. Industrial pressure gauges are used for pressure measurement in industrial production processes, while laboratory pressure gauges are used for pressure measurement in laboratories, typically requiring higher accuracy and more stable performance.
4. Classification by accuracy: Pressure gauges can be divided into standard pressure gauges and non-standard pressure gauges. Standard pressure gauges are used for calibrating other pressure gauges, while the accuracy of non-standard pressure gauges is determined according to actual needs.
5. Classification by display method: Pressure gauges can be divided into analog pressure gauges and digital pressure gauges. Analog pressure gauges utilize mechanical pointers to display pressure values, while digital pressure gauges display pressure values through electronic displays or liquid crystal displays. These classification methods are not independent of each other, but can be combined to generate more classifications. Different types of pressure gauges have different advantages and disadvantages in different application scenarios. The choice of which type of pressure gauge to use depends on the specific needs and actual situation of the user.
