Some manifestations of improper use of hydraulic vane pumps
In the product manual of the
vane pump, there are usually detailed installation guidelines and precautions. However, in actual use, there are often various faults and problems, and the vast majority of these problems should be caused by improper use. Improper use accounts for more than 95% of oil pump damage, and there are very few that truly belong to product quality issues.
The following are specific manifestations of improper use of hydraulic vane pumps:
1. Poor machine system environment
2. Poor system environment
A. Water ingress into the oil:
In devices with water cooling, poor sealing of the water pipes can cause water to enter the oil, resulting in rusting, locking, and inability to eject the pump core components.
B. Oil is too dirty:
Due to the unsealed state of the fuel tank, dust and iron debris mixed into the oil can cause early damage to the oil pump.
C. Temperature too high:
Due to the absence of a cooling device, the oil temperature will continue to rise during continuous use of the machine. If the oil temperature exceeds 70 ° C for a long time, the service life of the oil pump will be greatly shortened, and it will generally be damaged within six months to a year (sometimes even shorter).
2. Incorrect installation method:
A. Axial force on the shaft head:
Due to the lack of axial clearance during installation of the coupling, rigid installation can cause damage to the bearings and bearing retaining rings, and in severe cases, can damage the entire pump core.
B. The coupling is too tight:
Due to the small or no clearance between the coupling and the shaft, the bearing may be damaged when struck forcefully, resulting in early damage to the bearing and affecting the life of the entire pump core.
C. Coaxiality out of tolerance:
If the coaxiality exceeds the specified value during installation, it will cause eccentricity of the bearings and the entire pump core, leading to early damage. Generally, it is better to control it within ≤ 0.1 millimeters
B. Temperature too high:
Due to the absence of a cooling device, the oil temperature will continue to rise during continuous use of the machine. If the oil temperature exceeds 70 ° C for a long time, the service life of the oil pump will be greatly shortened, and it will generally be damaged within six months to a year (sometimes even shorter)
